Cathodic Protection specialists BAC Corrosion Control Ltd have had the efforts in the Middle Eastern market rewarded with the successful BAC-MEECC partnership being granted ISO 9001:2000 certification.
BAC Corrosion Control is a supplier of Cathodic Protection products and systems to the Pipelines, Marine, Power Station and Industrial markets across the world. BAC who celebrated their 50th Anniversary last year has been approved to the ISO 9000 standard since 1995.
Following the continued development of the Dubai-London based partnership, in which BAC teamed up with Qatar based Middle East Engineers & Corrosion Control (MEECC), and in order to maintain the continued improvement of quality and service, it was important to ensure possible target markets are aware that the entire BAC operations meet the requirements of the ISO approval. All three main sites of BAC operations now have the ISO certification. The three specific office locations are in the UK, Libya and now the UAE.
BAC-MEECC has undergone a full audit in order to ascertain whether the operations were in accordance with the assessment system and the system, both in the UAE and the UK, will be continuously assessed and audited by SGS Yarsley. The findings of the audit are that BAC-MEECC has been assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 for the following activities:
Design, manufacture and supply of cathodic protection systems and components and pinbrazing equipment. Provision of cathodic protection and pinbrazing services. Product stockholder, special distributor and supplier of cathodic protection and pinbrazing equipment.
